Week 1- Getting Started with AI Tools: ChatGPT & DALL·E

Artificial intelligence should no longer remain futuristic it should be a part of our day-to-day actions. ChatGPT and DALLE are two of the strongest tools that facilitated this transition. ChatGPT can be used to do writing, brainstorming, answering questions, or even to code, as it is developed to come up with human-like text. Conversely, DALLE addresses the generation of images based on text prompting, which enables a user to make images out of any idea immediately. Cumulatively, these tools demonstrate how AI can not only be used to be more creative or productive but also so more than ever. The outstanding feature of these tools is their accessibility. They do not require you to know how to program or be a technology specialist in order to begin using them. Users simply have to type in prompts to come up with essays, marketing ideas, designs, among others. This allows students, creators and professionals to experiment and better their work. AI tools can serve as effective initial inspiration, whether in the form of a blog post, in the form of a business-idea-generation idea, or in the form of a logo concept. With the further development of AI, the ability to utilize the applications such as ChatGPT and DALLE will be a mandatory necessity. It is all about experimentation in the form of trying the various prompts, trying features, and finding out what works best. These tools do not overthrow human creativity; rather, they complement it as they are more of a partner than a rival. In the current digital age, it is no longer a choice but a requirement of anyone who wants to stay ahead of others.

This week focused on comparing two of the most popular AI frameworks: TensorFlow and PyTorch. I learned that both tools are extremely powerful, but they are used differently depending on the situation. TensorFlow is known for being strong in production environments and large-scale deployment, while PyTorch is more commonly used for research and experimentation. Understanding this difference helped me realize that choosing the right tool is just as important as understanding AI itself. One of the biggest takeaways for me was how PyTorch uses dynamic computation graphs, which makes it easier to test and debug code. Week 5 – Understanding NLP & Language Models

This week focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP), which is how AI understands and works with human language. I learned about text classification, sentiment analysis, and language modeling. One of the biggest takeaways was how AI can analyze emotions in text, like determining whether a review is positive or negative. This is something businesses can use to understand customer feedback at scale. I also explored how models like ChatGPT work by predicting the next word in a sentence. That helped me understand why AI responses feel so natural. Running NLP examples in Google Colab showed how text is tokenized and processed before being analyzed.
